House in Olmonty
A family house for four in Olmonty, near Białystok. Its brick-clad form draws on the architecture of the region, where brick has long been used for detail — in cornices and decorative patterns on façades. Here that tradition returns in a contemporary way, with a softly rounded corner and a perforated brick pattern under the eaves that filters light and shadow. Inside, the day spaces open onto the birch grove on the plot and flow out into the garden. The house is organised on three levels: everyday family life on the ground floor, private rooms and a study upstairs, and a lower level with a sauna, spa and workshop.
